Latest Travel Information
As a practice we are starting to move forward with appointments for travel vaccinations. If you are travelling to a country that is on the government website and classed as able to return to the UK without having to self isolate, you are able to book an appointment.
We ask that you fill in a questionnaire that can be collected from reception of all the details of your holiday and previous vaccinations and hand it back into Reception at least 6 weeks before you travel.
One of our Practice Nurses will review the form and telephone you to discuss your travel arrangements and at this point you will be offered an appointment to come in for vaccinations if necessary.
If you are travelling last minute or within 2 weeks please contact the local travel clinics:
- Nottingham 0115 9475498
- Derby 01332 332530
- Sheffield 0114 3583930
Some travel vaccines are ordered privately and these will incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge, this is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
Please check the government website and the FCO advice for the up to date list of specific countries that you can travel to prior to filling in your form.
Do you need vaccinations?
Our Nurses can provide travel health advice and arrange for appropriate immunisations. Please arrange an appointment for a travel consultation at least 6-8 weeks before departure if possible. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.
Select the region you are travelling to find out more.
Travel Assessment
If you are travelling abroad please complete and submit the travel form in plenty of time (we recommend 6-8 weeks) before your journey.
